AAI Web UI "Job Status" Vision report takes a long time to load and is causing other Vision reports to hang.

Cause

Resolution

The "Job Status" report can cause issues, if you chose all jobs in environment with a log of jobs.

Once you try to run a report with All jobs for Job Status, it may hang up any other reports.

Once it is hung up like this, you can delete the Dashboard you created and refresh the web page and it should stop those report requests.

You can also restart the AAI service to recover from this.

 

It is best to use some filters on reports so you are not trying to pull in All jobs or jobstreams.

 

Defect DE538082 has been raised for this to investigate possible performance improvements.
