Issue/Introduction

Processes with XOG/GEL failing with error:

BPM-0704: An error occurred while executing custom script: org.apache.commons.jelly.JellyTagException: null:123:68:<soap:invoke> Failed to send a SOAP message generated to 'https://SERVERNAME/niku/xog'.HTTP Error: Status-Code:500: null".

Resolution

  • This is a generic message indicating it could not connect to this server:  https://SERVERNAME/niku/xog which is the app.
  • If one app where LB redirects the request is not working right it would throw this.
  • If you were not able to connect to one of the server (no login screen) that would explain this issue.
  • Make sure you check every app in cluster to ensure it's reachable
  • Check for any error in app-system/app-ca logs
