Issue/Introduction

Is kernel 3.10.0-1160.62.1.el7.x86_64 supported with VeRsIoN: 14.10-40 (17)  ?

We are getting the attached "Unknown symbol fget_light" error after OS upgrade from 3.10.0-1160.53.1.el7.x86_64 to 3.10.0-1160.62.1.el7.x86_64.

Cause

There was a material change in RHEL 3.10.0-1160.62.1.el7.x86_64 kernel update which required that we update and recompile our kernel module.

Resolution

We have already certified and updated the matrix for this update
