SQL Server: Unable to edit the Default Allocation in staffing Grid

Issue/Introduction

For Microsoft SQL Server, the Staffing Workspace: Staff Grid cannot be edited.

Error is:
Could not retrieve resource. Resource name: obaStaffs. Error code: internal Error message: System error. Contact system administrator.
as well as
Cannot create a row of size 9588 which is greater than the allowable maximum row size of 8060. 

Steps to Reproduce: 

  1. In a MSSQL Server environment, navigate to the 'Staffing' Workspace, 'Staff Grid' 
  2. Try to edit the 'Default Allocation' field 

Expected Results: The field should allow editing without any errors. 

Actual Results: Error is shown and allocation resets back to the original value. Errors: Could not update resource. Resource name: obaStaffs. Cannot create a row of size 9588 which is greater than the allowable maximum row size of 8060.

Component : Clarity MUX UI Usability, Staffing Workspace  

Microsoft SQL Server 

Cause

DE65046 - This has to do with how the part of obaStaffs REST API is built and the customer configuration of many custom API-enabled attributes. 

Workaround: Add the Common Investment, 'Name' hyperlinked field to the grid. Navigate to the investment and edit the allocations in the staff grid.  

Resolution

Fixed in 16.0.3
