Issue/Introduction

The Mail Merge feature is a part of Office application suites like Word or Excel and is used to send emails through these applications.
Post upgrading the DLP agent to 15.8 MP1, you are not able to send emails using Mail Merge.
The Mail Merge feature invokes MS Outlook in the background to send the email through Word or Excel.

Environment

DLP 15.8 MP1

Cause

DLP agent is crashing the outlook application while using the Mail Merge feature.

Resolution

This issue has been fixed in DLP 15.8 MP1 agent hotfix 12 and higher.
