Error when trying to open a report in Jaspersoft Studio

Issue/Introduction
When I try to open our custom Ad-Hoc View in Jaspersoft Studio, I get the error message.

Resolution
The Ad Hoc Editor supports the creation of views for various types of reports: tables, crosstabs, and charts using the browser.
Jaspersoft Studio only for the JRXML extension based reports.
