NBS Server shows "The File name is too long"

Error message:

Log file name: C:\ProgramData\Symantec\Symantec Agent\Logs\Agent.log
Severity: 2
Date: 5/9/2022 11:35:11 AM

  Preboot Cfg: PXE server failed to update or delete images, error: The file name is too long (0x0000006F)

Enable logging on the NBS Services (Verbose = 255), and recreate the Preboot Configuration that is failing.  Restart the Symantec NBS Service if needed.

Browse to C:\Program Files\Altiris\Altiris Agent\Agents\Deployment\SBS

View the SBSlog_interface.txt file.

Error messages in this file are as follows:

SbsHostInfo.cpp         Sbs::HostInfo::InitInterfaces                120    Debug    GetAdaptersAddresses failed 111.
SbsHostInfo.cpp        Sbs::HostInfo::Init                          61     Debug    Failed to init interfaces 111.
SbsInterfaceImpl.cpp    Sbs::SbsInterfaceImpl::UpdateImage           239    Error    Windows error code 111

SbsInterfaceImpl.cpp    Sbs::SbsInterfaceImpl::UpdateConfiguration   137    Error    Windows error code 258

This server had 13 physical NICs on the server and all but two were disconnected.

Disable the adapters that are not used, and that should resolve this issue.

Start NBS (PXE and BSDP) service back up and it should keep running.

Then rebuild the desired Preboot Configurations, and they should complete normally.
