Systems show as No Tracking Data or Operating System shows "Unknown Windows"

Issue/Introduction

Inventory is showing "Unknown Windows" for the Operating System on a lot of systems.

Also systems are showing up with "No Tracking Data" in the Console

Running a Basic Inventory on these systems brings the system back to 'green' status with a Known OS name, and valid tracking data.

Cause

Using Domain Membership/WINS Import task

Resolution

Domain Membership/WINS import task uses older APIs and is not recommended to run repeatedly in an environment. 

Recommended replacement: Use the Microsoft AD Import task to bring in systems from AD.  We get a lot more information from AD Import and it doesn't cause issues with existing systems in the Console.
