After adding a VNA integration the devices are not discovered as SNMP devices.
Release : 21.2
Component : Virtual Network Assurance For CA Performance Management
When a device comes in from VNA/Viptela by default you get the VNA device.
You would need to discover the devices via SNMP/Discovery profile to get the SNMP device.
There is also a setting for automatic discovery of VNA devices:
https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article?articleId=207281
If this is set:
1. It should add to an internal discovery profile and kicks it off like 1-5 mins after SDN inventory processing is done.
2. It should use the DX Netops Portal SNMP profiles in rank order until it finds one that works.
Note that:
If a device is discovered as a VNA device, adding it to an IP Domain Container in Spectrum will cause the Spectrum/Data Aggregator to consolidate, but will not trigger an SNMP discovery in the Data Aggregator.
You would either need to do Manual Discovery Profile discoveries in Dx Netops Performance Management or use the REST setting linked above.
