Spectrum OneClick to secure VNA integration fails with SPC-SDN-1: Unable to connect with the given VNA Server hostname and port.

Issue/Introduction

Enabled HTTPS on VNA as per documentation at https://techdocs.broadcom.com/us/en/ca-enterprise-software/it-operations-management/dx-netops/21-2/Modern-Network-Monitoring-with-DX-Virtual-Network-Assurance/securing/enable-https-for-virtual-network-assurance.html

then modified the OneClick -> Administration -> VNA configuration page with following parameters:

VNA Server Host Name: VNA_server_name 

VNA Server Port: 8443

VNA Server Username: admin

VNA Server Password: ***

Select a SpectroSERVER: Spectro_server_name 

VNA Integration: enable

HTTPS: enable

Trying to test the VNA connection the following error appeared:

SPC-SDN-1: Unable to connect with the given VNA Server hostname and port.

Resolution

Add the VNA certificate on the spectrum OC server.

On OC Web page -> Administration -> SSL Certificates add the VNA certificate, then restart spectrum tomcat and Test the VNA connection.
