Applied PTF maintenance to Database Management Solutions for Db2 for z/OS products in preparation for upgrade to
Db2 function level to V12R1M503 from V12R1M100.

After Post-Install processing to Bind Product Packages and Plans / 1 - Bind only product packages for maintenance,
SQLCODE = -805 errors occurred for PZA#PACK and PPA$ODDR packages.

Environment

Release : 20.0
Component : Database Management Solutions for Db2 for z/OS

Resolution

Post-Install bind package related problem have been corrected by PTF LU06081.

The following post-install bind package issues have been fixed by PTF LU06081:

1. The following packages are not bound in "Bind Product Package and Plans"
option 0 (Bind ALL product packages and plans)as they are not part of any
PACK member. For this reason, some components are not bound in the Post-
Install full bind option 0 (Bind ALL product packages and plans), but they
are appearing in the incremental bind package option 3 (Bind only product
packages for maintenance).
UTAGLD13
RAAPBP#
PTCLLABH
MMA@VREC

2. Options 1 and 3 (Bind only product packages for maintenance) under the
post-install DB2 Task "Bind Product Packages and Plans" incorrectly
report that all packages need to be bound, even though no BIND PACKAGE
statement is generated at the end:

The modified packages are not properly bound as needed and running the
Database Management Solutions for Db2 for z/OS might fail with SQLCODE=-805
as a result.
