Issue/Introduction

I'm trying to determine if the firewall is blocking a request to the PC for https and port 8182.  What logs can I check to see if communication reaches port 8182?

All supported releases

Resolution

For web calls, port 8182 is aligned to the PCService.log and 8382 is aligned to the SSOService.log.  Not every single call or request is logged and it depends on what is being requested and if it causes a fault or not.

Some other logs you can take a look at could be:

  • PCService_request_$date.log
  • SSOService_request_$date.log
  • SingleSignOnAuditLog$date.log
