Autosys/CA7 cross instance jobs occasionally send Exceed SLA alerts much later than the SLA time usually triggered around the time the Target job starts.

Resolution

This can occur if the jobstream run is in an unknown state at the time the Late time is breached.

AAI will only generate jobstream alerts on jobstreams that are not in an unknown state.

A jobtream run that is in an unknown state is when AAI has a job run that starts a jobstream run, but cannot make a prediction on when the target job will complete.
