Issue/Introduction

We are getting these message -

CA-7.1023 - Master Station Message Routing error                           
CA-7.1024  SEND: RC(08) REASON(20 08 00 00) Node: #06E2     CAI_OPR_DAEMON 
CA-7.1025 FDBK: NETWORK PATH TO REMOTE CCI NOT ACTIVE       

Resolution

The 06E2 is the CCI node.  It is probably a mainframe LPAR that does not have an EVENT MANAGER.  Remove it from the top of the  MSGRCNTL dataset if you do not run the event manager or GTS/ECHO on that LPAR.  Otherwise, it not a problem and will not cause a problem, but you will continue to get the message, to which there is no action required.
