Installed APM connector 3.6.5 - Connector did not show up on SOI admin page

Issue/Introduction

I have just installed APM connector V 3.6.5.  The install log show it was successful.  After I restarted the services, the connector did not appear on SOI admin page.  The log directory only show two logs that had any data.  Please advise on how to trouble shoot the problem.

Release : 4.2

Component : Catalyst Connector for APM

Resolution

We check the \soi\jsw\logs\SAM-IntegrationServices_wrapper.log file and notice the APM Connector was not being started since there's no info in it regarding the APM Connector.

 

We check the \soi\resources\Configurations\APM_<IP or Hostname>.xml and the State field was set to Removed.

Change the value to Enabled and restart the CA SOI Event Management

 

Now the APM connector is showing up in the SOI Admin page.
