Issue/Introduction

We are getting below errors in scheduler logs (event_demon.*)  and are not able to perform any operation in Autosys.

 

[05/03/2022 06:00:14]     CAUAJM_E_18802 Error from SQLExecute() Failed with SQL_ERROR.

[05/03/2022 06:00:14]     CAUAJM_E_18601 SQLSTATE: 42000, Native error: 9,002, Message: [Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 11.0][SQL Server]The transaction log for database 'AUTOSYS' is full due to 'LOG_BACKUP'.

 

What can be done to fix the issue?

Release : 11.3.6

Component : CA Workload Automation AE (AutoSys)

Cause

SQL Server database Autosys's transaction logs are full.  

Resolution

Based on the error message, the SQL Server database's  transaction logs are full. Work with your DBA to increase space in the database (increase the size of the transaction logs) and restart Autosys
