Warning message: Caching resources are managed by WSS

Issue/Introduction

As an administrator, I tried to push a universal policy to the Web Security Service (WSS), and get the following warning:

Caching resources are managed by WSS. This property will be transparent to WSS. No action is required.

Environment

Management Center

Universal Policy Enforcement

Web Security Sevice

Resolution

The Web Security Service has cache disabled by default. The enforcement point for the rule will need to be switched to Appliance. 

Note: Warnings do not prevent policy installation; in this example, WSS simply will not execute the rule with the warning.
