RHEL PMimport error: "Failed to import software packages information for: 'dotNET on RHEL RPMs for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 Server'"

Issue/Introduction

The RHEL PMimport completed and an error was returned and one of channel isn't imported.  In the NS logs the following error was seen:

Failed to import software packages information for: 'dotNET on RHEL RPMs for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 Server' (xxxxxx-xxxxxx-xxxxxxx-xxxx)

Environment

ITMS 8.5 RU4, 8.6 RU2

Resolution

This issue was fixed in the ITMS 8.6 RU3 release:

Workaround: For those using a previous version other than 8.6 RU3, the workaround is to uncheck “dotNET on RHEL RPMs for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 Server” in the SMP Console under "Vendors and Software" and save the changes and then run the PMImport again:
