LSERV usage for Endevor ACMROOT and ACMXREF Files

Issue/Introduction

LSERV is being used to manage all the VSAM files except for the ACMROOT and ACMXREF files.  Can these files be under the control of LSERV?  

 

Environment

Release : 18.1, 19.0 

Component : CA Endevor Software Change Manager

Resolution

LSERV nor RLS support VSAM Linear data sets.  The ACMROOT and ACMXREF datasets are VSAM Linear datasets so they cannot be put under control of RLS or LSERV.
