Issue/Introduction

When you register a CCS agent and run the Import Agents and Assets job, you get the error 'Failed to update agent-asset map for agent id: xxxxxxx-xxxxx-xxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx'.  

Environment

Release : CCS 12.5.x and 12.6

Component : CCS Application server and/or CCS Manager

Resolution

Verify the following on your CCS CSM_Db and CSM_Reports databases:

 

Even if the SQL compatibility level is set to 100, Stop and start the following CCS Services on your Application server and CCS Manager(s):

  • On the CCS Application Server:
    • Symantec Application Server Service
    • Symantec Directory Support Service
  • On the CCS Manager(s):
    • Symantec CCS Manager service
    • Symantec Data Processing Service
