Issue/Introduction
When you register a CCS agent and run the Import Agents and Assets job, you get the error:
Failed to update agent-asset map for agent id: xxxxxxx-xxxxx-xxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx
Resolution
Verify the following on each of the CCS CSM_Db and CSM_Reports databases:
Even if the SQL compatibility level is set to 100, stop and start the following CCS Services on your Application server and CCS Manager(s):
- On the CCS Application Server:
- Symantec Application Server Service
- Symantec Directory Support Service
- On the CCS Manager(s):
- Symantec CCS Manager service
- Symantec Data Processing Service
- On the SQL Server:
- Stop and restart the SQL the server(s) running the CSM_Db and CSM_Reports databases
