Issue/Introduction

A performance issue has been identified in the CA Identity Portal (IP), when running an Admin Task used for Provisioning Role requests. For a single user, a request for more than one role can take a long time before the notification screen appears in the portal window. 

In the CA Identity Manager (IM) User Console, we can see the tasks in VST (View Submitted Tasks) are submitted sequentially, one after another and each task takes almost 7 seconds and due to that the IP confirmation pop up takes a long time to display.

Is there a configuration setting that will improve the time it takes to get the confirmation popup?

Component : CA IDENTITY SUITE (VIRTUAL APPLIANCE)

Resolution

Reduced the IP setting "wait time for tasks to complete" will improve performance for the target permissions but the timeout does not impact the performance of the direct endpoint operations.
