Issue/Introduction

When a CICS Application calls TSSCAI:
If 'XTRAN=YES' is set on the CICS Facility, can TSSTRACK be used to monitor the activity?
If 'XTRAN=NO' is set on the CICS Facility, can TSSTRACK be used to monitor the activity?

Resolution

The XTRAN CICS Facility Control Option determines whether or not attached transaction entries, for the region, are checked by Top Secret. For calls to TSSCAI, if the event should be logged (monitored), specify a TSSLOG of 'Y' on the call. This has nothing to do with the XTRAN setting.
