Discrepancies with pdf detection (filter.exe) between Windows and Linux

Issue/Introduction

You are seeing Adobe PDF file detection discrepancies between Windows and Linux Detection Servers.

Windows Detection servers detect the pdf as Encrypted Adobe PDF.

Linux Detection servers are able to scan the same file successfully.

Cause

This is a known issue with the version of Key View on Windows 15.x  DLP Detection servers.

Resolution

This will be fixed with DLP 16.0, which will contain an updated version of KeyView (filter.exe).
