Issue/Introduction

Is there anyway to restrict users from stopping a Detector for Db2 for z/OS (PDT) collection.

Resolution

There is no User Option to turn off stopping a Detector Collection however you can limit access to PDT plans that control the product.

These plans:
PDTPLN05=PDTExxxx  PDT Collection Services<-------
PDTPLN07=PDTGxxxx  PDT Collection Profile Update<-----
 

You can control users from stopping the collection by refusing them access to PDTPLN05= and PDTPLN07=.
