Issue/Introduction

VAPP 14.4.1

There is patch v2-HF-TZDATA-2022a-20220325-001.tar.gpg that updates Java timezone to 2022a

and the patch HF_VA-14.4.1-20211203091508-AOJDK18312 updates Java timezone to2021e 

so which patch should we update first ?

Resolution

The HF_VA-14.4.1-20211203091508-AOJDK18312.tgz.gpg updates timezone to 2021e.

v2-HF-TZDATA-2022a-20220325-001.tar.gpg updates timezone to 2022a

Therefore, the v2-HF-TZDATA-2022a-20220325-001.tar.gpg patch has to be installed after HF_VA-14.4.1-20211203091508-AOJDK18312.tgz.gpg patch, otherwise timezone data will be downgraded to older version.

Note: only Java timezone gets downgraded, OS timezone is not affected even if HF_VA-14.4.1-20211203091508-AOJDK18312 is installed last.
