Getting this message when we start a CICS region.

ACFAE189 Unable to locate CFDE for LID field <<attribute>> in ACF2 FDR

Field <<attribute>> is not defined by any @CFDE. What cause this CICS region to look for <<attribute>>

What CICS definition or ACF2 definition or other definition causes it to look for <<attribute>>?

Resolution

The ACFAE189 error can occur for several different logonid fields that the ACF2/CICS interface uses. These field are defined in the ACF2PARM SIGNON and LIDFIELD records:

• SIGNON Auth=CICS|field|NO
• LIDFIELD OPIDENT=CICSID|field
                   OPCLASS=CICSCL|field
                   OPPRTY=CICSPRI|field
                   IDLE=IDLE|field
  
  

The field name is derived from the @CFDE macro name.
