Since the installation of the patches, the following error message shows in the RA_TRACE file:

The solution was to upgrade to axis2-1.7.9-bin.zip files.
The product documentation states that Business Objects 4.2 should have axis2-1.6.2-bin.zip. But at some SP levels it may require axis2-1.7.9-bin.zip files.
