Installing 14.4 cannot get past specifying Java JDK

Issue/Introduction

I have installed 14.4 several times and never ran into a problem specifying the Java JVM.

Every time the path to the JVM is entered it tells me "The provided path does not point to a valid Java Virtual Machine.  Please choose again."

 

Environment

Release : 14.4

Component : IdentityMinder(Identity Manager)

Cause

Java conflict

Resolution

Multiple eversions of JAVA on the system which caused a conflict. In this case, two different versions of JAVA installed on the system.

Clean up the Java environment on that machine.  Once removed, the proper JAVA environment will install successfully.
