Issue/Introduction

What is needed to change the service desk connection to point back to the production service desk system and then confirm that the change was made correctly?

Environment

Release : 4.2

Component : Service Operations Insight (SOI) Manager

Resolution

This information is changed in the HelpDesk configuration page.

After doing this, either:

  1. Restart the CA SOI Application Server service for the change to take affect,
    or
  2. Wait until the system can be restarted so that all the SOI services are restarted.
