TMS.AUDIT share the same physical control unit.
Release : 14.0
Component : CA 1 Tape Management
TMC and Audit are on the same control unit.
PTF SO16131 introduced extra Health Checking for SPOF (Single Point of Failure).
Since then, another PTF has been created to provide options if you want this condition checked. This PTF is LU03509. You can download it via this link.
Alternative you could move the TMC to a different control unit. You can do this dynamically with TMSXTEND utility. You cannot move the Audit file without stopping tape processing, but format a new one without stopping tape activity.
