Issue/Introduction

Applications Manager's awprint command may cause core dump files to be generated. Below is an example file name:

core.awprint.1065.42a8501c8bf6480e80e6f2a983a430c8.3141002.1645678864000000

The following error can be seen in the file:

Core was generated by '$AW_HOME/c/awprint -x PRINTSIZE -j 7159761.00 -n'
Program terminated with signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
#0 0x000014f78668f877 in __strnlen_avx2 () from /usr/lib64/libc.so.6
Missing separate debuginfos, use: yum debuginfo-install glibc-2.28-164.el8.x86_64

Cause

Missing RPM glibc-2.28-164.el8.x86_64 on the system.

Resolution

This problem could be resolved by applying the missing RPM glibc-2.28-164.el8.x86_64.
