Issue/Introduction

Upgrade chrome version to ver100, and notice error when loading Admin tool com.sun.deploy.net.FailedDownloadException: unable to load recource: http://vwkrschpr05:8080/idash/ui.jar error

Component : IDASH WORKLOAD AUTOMATION AE

Resolution

his is not an iDash issue but an issue with your java. I have chrome version 100 and never had an issue with iDash admin tool. You can try the following I found from a google search:

1. Run "Configure Java" as administrator.
2. Go to Advanced
3. Scroll to bottom
4. Under: "Advanced Security Settings" uncheck "Use SSL 2.0 compatible ClientHello format"
5. Save

If the above doesn't work I suggest you refer to the OS/Network admin as this issue is likely a DNS issue where the client PC is unable to reach the master using the IP/hostname value seen in error.

A possible solution is to edit the hosts file and add an entry for the IP and hostname value. Please refer to OS/Network admin for more information.
