Issue/Introduction

Upgrade z/OS system from 2.2 to 2.4. FTP fails with 'EZYFT53E Unable to execute FTP server load module /usr/abin/ftpdnsxx' when we trying to connect to to an lpar.

 

Environment

Release : 16.0

Component : ACF2 for z/OS

Resolution

The 'EZYFT53E Unable to execute FTP server load module /usr/abin/ftpdnsxx' by a  Resource Class FSACCESS validation that failing.

ACFRPTRV report showed RFSA-OMVS.ZFS.TST234 *VIO, access 'DIRECTORY UPDT' SAF RESOURCE CLASS FSACCESS violation.

After updating the RFSA rule, followed by a F ACF2,REBUILD(FSA), the error is resolved and FTP is working again.
