Insufficient privilege, Enter password SYS Error on Install

Issue/Introduction

While running the Applications Manager Installation, it is stuck on the error  "insufficient privilege, Enter password SYS" .

Environment

Release : 9.3x, 9.4x

Component :CA Automic Aplications Manager

Cause

Problem was with sqlplus not found due to ORACLE  not being in the PATH environment variable.

Resolution

Add ORACLE_HOME to the environment PATH . Once ORACLE_HOME is added to PATH, sqlplus should run successfully and the installation completed without any permission errors.
