Export data from my old servers to a new enviroment.

Issue/Introduction

Please provide the steps to migrate data from my current  (Wily version 10.7 SP3) to my new environment  (also version 10.7 SP 3).

Environment

Release : 10.7.0

Component : Introscope

Resolution

1. Stop both the source and destination EM's.

2. On the destination (your new 10.7 SP3 server), if the below directories exist, then rename them to data.old and traces.old.  If they do not exist, create them.

3. Copy all the files and subdirectories on the source EM (listed below) to the destination EM

<EM Home>/data

<EM Home>/traces

<EM Home>/config/modules

<EM Home>/config/modules-backup

<EM Home>/config/scripts

Additional Information

In this situation, user was not using CEM nor Team Center.  Therefore migrating the APM DB was not needed.
