Issue/Introduction

The report email is not being sent in UIM Dashboard Designer when NTLM is enabled in the SMTP server

The below error can be seen in the dasboard.log

2022-04-15 09:52:07,212 ERROR com.firehunter.dashboard.service.SchedulerService:runReport:85 [QuartzScheduler_Worker-1]   -Could not email scheduled dashboard report. Scheduled job name : [email protected]
javax.mail.AuthenticationFailedException: 334 NTLM supported

Environment

Release : 20.4

Component : UIM OPERATOR CONSOLE - DASHBOARDS/DESIGNER

Cause

NTLM was not supported with the dashboard portlet.

Resolution

Please deploy ump_dashboard-20.4.2 (attached to this KB) to the OC robot as NTLM support was added to the Dashboard Designer.
