Unable to login into LiveUpdate Administrator, returns to login screen or indicates user is logged on already

Issue/Introduction

Unable to login into LiveUpdate administrator (LUA). When username and password is entered, the page refreshes back to the login screen. If attempted to login again, it indicates the user is already logged in. Choosing Force user log off returns to the login screen.

Environment

Release : 2.3.11, Previous versions

Cause

Security controls on the network (Domain) prevent the login from completing using Internet Explorer.

Resolution

Use Edge(for LUA 2.3.9 and later), Firefox or Chrome to access the LUA console.

Though less secure, the security controls on Internet Explorer could be loosened to allow functionality.
