CA Network Flow Analysis (NetQos / NFA)

Issue/Introduction

While upgrading the harvester from NFA 10.0.7 to 21.2.8 on RHEL 7.4 via the gui, the installation fails due to unsupported RHEL version.  The error reports that the current OS is RHEL 7.4, but that the current os is unsupported, then the gui installation ends.

Environment

Release : 21.2

Component : NQRACO - NETQOS RA CONSOLE

Cause

Unknown

Resolution

We were able to run the installation successfully via console. (using the "-i console" option)

Additional Information

For 21.2.12 upgrade Harvester Linux:

1. Edit the /etc/centos-release file to change 7.9 to 7.6 (temporarily).

2. Download and install the RedHat backward combability package:

yum install redhat-lsb
Note: The redhat-lsb is the NFA Package Requirements for Harvester, see this information on site

Now you can re-run the install. Set the release file back to the original after the upgrade
