Issue/Introduction

Customer has created a custom Device Family. There is a device model in this Device Family that should not be there. We have tried to Reevaluate the Device Family for this model but we get the following error:

Environment

Release : Any supported Spectrum versions

Cause

- The custom Device Family is populated by a search where this model met the search criteria

- This model was manually added to the custom Device Family

Resolution

If the model was manually added to the Device Family:

- Log into OneClick

- Select the Device Family in the Explorer tab of the Navigation panel

- Click on the List tab in the Contents panel

- Right mouse click on the model in the list and select Remove from the menu

- Spectrum may automatically re-evaluate which Device Family the model should be in. If not, right mouse click on the model and select Reconfiguration -> Reevaluate NCM Device Family from the list

---------------

If the model was added to the Device Family from a search:

- Log into OneClick

- Select the Device Families folder the Explorer tab of the Navigation panel

- Click on the List tab in the Contents panel

- Select the Device Family in the List tab

- Click on the Information tab in the Component Detail panel

- Expand the General Information subview

- Click on the Edit Device Family button and update the search criteria so the model in question is not found

- After updating the search criteria, click on the Update Device Family button in the General Information subview
