Issue/Introduction

Tomcat Stopped working after upgrading from 8.5.56 to 9.0.55 on ITCM domain manager. 

Currently  using 14.5 ITCM Domain manger with 8.5.56 tomcat version

 Upgraded  tomcat to 9.0.55 as per the document.

Tomcat Folder name still shows older version but content of files are upgraded to 9.0.55. After Renaming the folder name as 9.0.55, it is not working. It works if folder name is 8.5.56 . 

 

Environment

Release : 14.5

Component : CA Client Automation

Resolution

On domain manager, please execute comstore command as mentioned below:

ccnfcmda -cmd Getparametervalue -ps itrm/common/caf/plugins/tomcat -pn commandline_start

If it still shows version 8.5.56 as shown in above screenshot, then Tomcat will not work after renaming the folder to new version. Please edit environment variable path and reboot the domain manager. Tomcat should work after this change.
