Customer receiving the dynamic allocation ERROR=47C0 while trying to allocate space to the View Database using SARDBASE ADDDS DATA Statement.

Resolution

Error=47C0 is a dynamic-allocation error.

It happened because an attempt occurred to allocate a non-SMS dataset (View database) on an SMS-controlled (initialized) volume. 

It was recommended that the customer work with their storage team to address the allocation issue.
