Issue/Introduction

AAI is showing CA7 scheduler time zone as GMT instead of the correct time zone on the Admin->Schedulers tab of AAI.

 

Environment

Release : 6.4.1

Component : AUTOMIC AUTOMATION INTELLIGENCE INTEGRATION FOR CA 7

Cause

The TIMEZONE file sent to AAI had a time zone like below:

CST6CDT,M3.2.0/02:00:00,M11.1.0/02:00:00

Resolution

AAI expects the time zone to be in a format like CST6CDT.

 

Editing the TIMEZONE file to have the format above, and forcing a "Download Now" of the CA7 scheduler on the Admin->Schedulers tab will allow the correct time zone to do displayed.

 

A new version of the CA7 Data Provider will be available shortly to only pull in the time zone format above into the TIMEZONE file.
