Issue/Introduction

Customer tried to perform some testing with the SPS Rest endpoint/REST Interface but the functionality was not working as expected.

https://(domain).com/authazws/AuthRestService/login/auth/endpoint

So the customer requested the below Information to implement the SPS (CA Access Gateway) rest endpoint functionality using Advanced Password Services (APS).

- Will SM_AUTHREASON no longer be used with APS or is there a SPS Agent/realm setting I need to adjust for this to work now?
- Do we need to make any other configuration changes in the Advanced Password Service (APS)?
- Why does the SPS rest endpoint functionality not work as expected using APS?

Environment

Environment: Any supported Single Sign-On (siteminder) environment.

Resolution

We didn’t test/certify the SPS (CA Access Gateway) rest endpoint functionality using Advanced Password Services (APS).

This functionality is currently NOT supported as we do not even have the source code.

SPS Rest API is not supported with APS. If the customer needs this support then this may be treated as an Enhancement request as we see there is no implementation in our code at all.
