Print Multiple Reports after updated 12.1 Web Viewer to Build to 221 and output is collated differently

Issue/Introduction

We updated from Build 197 (v 12.1) to Build 221 (v 12.1.6). We have a report that when printing multiple copies of reports, it is grouping the reports in sets. For example, it prints copies grouped in sets (Document A, Document B, Document C). It previously, printed all sets of Document A, all sets of Document B, and then sets of Document C.

Cause

It is the browser print that determines in which order the document sets are collated/printed.

Resolution

You do not want to use the ActiveX Control (Browser Add-On) at all, not even with IE. In fact, the best result was realized when Web Viewer is configured to use Browser Printing  and the browser is IE. That's when we saw the multiple copies of the multiple reports collated AAA BBB CCC, like the user had seen before the update to Build 221. In the same configuration but using Chrome or Edge, the multiple reports are grouped ABC ABC ABC.
