"Hide IE11 Not Supported Banner" option does no longer work

When unchecked on 16.0.1, the "Hide IE11 Not Supported Banner " option does no longer produce a banner.



  1. On 16.0.1, go to Administration - System Options
  2. Ensure "Hide IE11 Not Supported Banner " is unchecked
  3. Now log in with IE11 to Clarity Classic


Expected Results: A banner to display with message: Internet Explorer 11 is not supported. For the best experience, use a supported browser

Actual Results: No banner is displayed

Note: IE11 is no longer supported in Clarity 16.0.1 but the option remains in System Options, so it should be expected to work:


Release : 16.0, 16.0.1, 16.0.2


This is DE64788, fixed in 16.0.3. The option "Hide IE11 Not Supported Banner" will be removed from System Options starting 16.0.3

Clarity 16.x does not support Internet Explorer, and IE11 is EOL on June 15 2022

It's recommended to inform the users in a communication on using alternate supported browsers such as Edge/Chrome
