Repeated jaws.log message: [AutosysJobStreamManager] Merging: predicted end times are equal

Issue/Introduction

Repeated jaws.log messages like below:

INFO [AutosysJobStreamManager] Merging: predicted end times are equal: 2022/04/13 13:27:04.977 CDT in jobstream <Jobstream Name>

In some cases this may cause slower event processing then usual.

Environment

Release : 6.4.2

Component : AUTOMIC AUTOMATION INTELLIGENCE ENGINE

Resolution

If the same jobstream names appear in the logs messages over and over, there may be an issue with predictions on those specific jobstreams.

If you are having performance issues and see these messages you can try disabling Forecasting and Monitoring on these few jobstreams for now by editing the jobstream and unchecking the boxes below:

 

 

 

Then see if those messages stop and if jammer performance improves.

 

It also looks like DB Maintenance is active right now which may also be slowing down the jammer.
