Modify Configuration task failing in GSS with multiple domain accounts configured

Issue/Introduction

Noticed that Modify Configuration tasks were failing in GSS. Confirmed that two accounts for the same domain were configured in Tools > Options > "Domain Accounts"

Cause

Two domain admin accounts for the same domain is not supported in options. When you attempt to add another domain admin when one already exists for the same domain a warning appears:

 

 

Resolution

It is unclear how the second account was able to be added but it should be removed to prevent apply configuration tasks from failing due to credentials.

If only one domain admin account is configured for the domain, re-enter credentials and test again.
