Issue/Introduction

After updating the Informatica solution from 5.0.2 to 5.2.0, the agents were stopping shortly after being started and were showing this message in the log:

U00034036 There is no valid license for Agent 'INFORMATICA_AGENT_NAME' (license class '1', license category 'Production', platform 'EX.RA').

Looking at the license being used, there was no entry for EX.RA; the previous agents were using EX.RA.Informatica.

Environment

Release : 12.2

Component : RA INFORMATICA

Resolution

There was a change as the technical requirements for licenses were removed from the product.  The upgraded version of the Informatica solution no longer shows itself as EX.RA.Informatica and instead shows itself as EX.RA.

The resolution is to update the Automation Engine to 12.2.2 or higher (please see article 129723).

Alternatively reach out to your account team to have a new license key generated that will include EX.RA.
