Issue/Introduction

We noticed that we cannot secure the attribute Include in Status Reporting on the task object.

We are receiving the error "API-1066: 'Include in Status Reporting' attribute cannot be secured." when clicking the Secure checkbox on the Attributes list.

Environment

Release : 16.0.1

Resolution

This is working as designed where while attempting to secure the  'Include In Status Reporting' attribute for the Risk, Issue, Change Request and Task objects. There is a predefined list of attributes that can't be secured because it will break the functionality of the application.

Additional attributes below that also can't be secure:

API-1066: 'Name' attribute cannot be secured. 

API-1066: 'ID' attribute cannot be secured. 

API-1066: 'Start' attribute cannot be secured. 

API-1066: 'Finish' attribute cannot be secured. 

API-1066: 'Include in Status Reporting' attribute cannot be secured. 

API-1066: 'Duration' attribute cannot be secured. 

API-1066: 'Is Task' attribute cannot be secured. 

API-1066: 'Milestone' attribute cannot be secured.

API-1066: 'WBS Sort' attribute cannot be secured.
