Error in Spool Menu after having applied maintenance: OPEN FAILED CODES: 'PEPE'

Issue/Introduction

Today we have applied some of the PTF which is available for CA Spool and it is giving the below error when i issue any commands in Spool panel .

and also when i try to use the option F - for files display it is giving the below error ..

Cause

A possible cause is that the Spool CSA modules have not been refreshed after having applied maintenance without an IPL.
The message that indicates the modules were refreshed is:

ESF022  MODULE REFRESH PERFORMED   

Resolution

To refresh the Spool modules that reside in Common Storage without an IPL follow this procedure:

1) Issue the following command:

F caspoolstc,REINIT,MODULES,ON

Where caspoolstc is the name of the Spool started task

The following message should appear after this command is issued:

ESF888  REINIT MODULES PROCESSED - REFRESH PENDING

 

2) Stop and start the Spool started task.

The following message should appear during the restart:

ESF022  MODULE REFRESH PERFORMED
